H-D Adjustable Highway Footpegs Installed

My new highway pegs.  After installing them I discovered they folded down instead of up when not in use! I somehow put them on upside down, backwards or… I’m still not quite sure what I did! The directions that were included were of no help at all. It was easier to just ignore the printed instructions and just put them on by sight. Or maybe I’m just mechanically challenged! Anyway, this should make for a more comfortable ride on those long trips.

Note to anyone else installing highway pegs: If you’ll notice in the photos, the position I installed the pegs is right next to the brake pedal. After taking a ride I discovered they were too close to the brake pedal and could interfere when pressing on the brake with my right foot. When pressing on the pedal, the right side of my boot sole (unless my foot was exactly centered on the pedal) would touch the highway peg and not let the brake press down any more. I’ve repositioned the pegs up a few inches to alleviate this issue.
