Ride to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon

I’ve never been to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon so I decided to take a ride on my 2 days off.  I took a detour through Winslow, AZ just to take a look at the “Man Standing on the Corner”.  Then across the Colorado River and the State of Arizona, Navajo Bridge before entering the Park.

425 miles one way for me but well worth it.

  2. Wow! I’ve been to the Grand Canyon, but it was so long ago I need another trip there to refresh my memory. Thanks DRF, now I can’t get that damn song out of my head! (-:

  4. Thanks for this post about the Grand Canyon North Rim. It brought back fond memories of when we camped at a campground at Jacob Lake a few years ago and made the drive through the meadows to the national park each day. Love the bison pictures! We never saw any when we were there. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
