We stopped here at the “Buffalo Run Restaurant” here in Marblemount, WA.  Along State Route 20.

They had quite selection here on the menu!  I wasn’t feeling very adventurous, so I just got the Angus Burger.  I was told the Alligator Burger was White Meat.

Deception Pass Bridge along State Route 20.  Construction started in 1934 and ended in 1935.  It sure has been here a long time.  Located in North Whidbey, Oak Harbor, WA 98227.  The bridge is 1487 feet long and only 24 feet wide.  Just enough for two vehicles to pass.

A view from the bridge.  It’s a 180 feet to the bottom.

Another view from the bridge. It was quite a nice view.

Canyon Lake – Location: Less than an hour East of Phoenix, AZ in the Tonto National Forest.

Here’s a few photos I took on my ride over to Canyon Lake.  A nice day in Arizona for a motorcycle ride.  To get to this lake, you have to ride over 2, one-land bridges.  They have quite a few camping spaces available for campers.  There’s also a lot of boats at the marina.  I’m not sure why, but I didn’t take any photos of the camping sites or the marina where they had quite a few boats.  There was a restaurant and a Steam Boat were you can take a ride around the lake.

I took a day off from work and decided to take a ride.  I rode over to Roosevelt Lake in Arizona.  I’ve never been to this lake before.  Here’s a few photos of the Lake, Dam and Bridge.

Another stop on my motorcycle trip, The historic Navajo Bridge.  It’s located on Highway 89A near Lee’s Ferry, between Bitter Springs and Jacob lake, AZ.  It was built in 1929 and was replaced by a new bridge in 1993 for safety reasons.  There’s a parking area next to the old bridge where Navajo people were selling jewelry and other items.  I walked out on the bridge and was able to see a few people on rafts drifting down the Colorado River.

The Historic Dewey Bridge.  Located along Highway 128 and the Colorado River in the Colorado Riverway Recreation Area.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

I was delighted to discover this historic bridge on my motorcycle ride.  Of course I had to stop and take some pictures!

This bridge was the longest suspension bridge in Utah until April 2008 when it was destroyed by a fire started by a child playing with matches.

I’ve started searching for a nice scenic background in the Phoenix area for a photo session I have planned in a couple of months,  high school graduation photos for my Granddaughter. This is the first location I’ve come up with.  Freestone Park, located in Gilbert, AZ.  It’s located East of Lindsay Rd between Guadalupe and Elliot for those in the area that may be interested.  These shots were taken mid day when the sun was high in the sky and very bright.  If I go back, I’d probably go early morning or late afternoon for better lighting. A nice area for photos.
