I took a short 40 mile ride along the Bush Highway NE of Phoenix AZ today in this 100 degree plus weather. I sure am looking forward to summer being over. I prefer to ride when the temperatures are in the 70’s and 80’s. Anyway, I stopped a few times to get some desert photos. It’s still a little early for the desert flowers to start blooming, but when they do, it’ll make for some nice photos.

I went over to the Desert Botanical Gardens today in Phoenix. Here’s a few photos. Not much is blooming this time of year, so I got some “wildlife” photos as well!
I took a ride today on the Yamaha Raider since I haven’t ridden it in quite a while. It’s been sitting in the garage too long connected to the battery tender. I stopped here at the entrance to Red Mountain Ranch housing community, in Mesa, Arizona. It seemed like a nice place with some green grass and a little blue sky for a photo. I try to always keep my camera with me when I ride. You never know when a nice photo opportunity will show up!
I took a ride out East of Phoenix, AZ this morning near the Superstition Mountains. Here’s a couple of photos of the Arizona desert. A nice cool morning ride.
A nice motorcycle ride NE of Phoenix, AZ along the Bush Highway to Saguaro Lake.
