Here’s a few photos on our ride through Glacier National Park, Montana.

This was my first trip here to the park.  It was very impressive.  We didn’t stray off the road much due to time constraints.  If you really want to get the most out of your visit, you’ll need a few days to get off the paved roads and take some hikes up to the glaciers, lakes etc.

Canyon Lake – Location: Less than an hour East of Phoenix, AZ in the Tonto National Forest.

Here’s a few photos I took on my ride over to Canyon Lake.  A nice day in Arizona for a motorcycle ride.  To get to this lake, you have to ride over 2, one-land bridges.  They have quite a few camping spaces available for campers.  There’s also a lot of boats at the marina.  I’m not sure why, but I didn’t take any photos of the camping sites or the marina where they had quite a few boats.  There was a restaurant and a Steam Boat were you can take a ride around the lake.

Saguaro Lake – Arizona (w/ a Helicopter Sighting!)

Another ride to another lake.  This time to Saguaro Lake, NE of Phoenix, AZ.  While I was there a police helicopter made an approach and departure from the helipad.  I’m guessing he was practicing his approach and departure maneuvers.  He only stayed on the ground for a few seconds.  I didn’t get many photos this trip, but here’s a few.

I took a day off from work and decided to take a ride.  I rode over to Roosevelt Lake in Arizona.  I’ve never been to this lake before.  Here’s a few photos of the Lake, Dam and Bridge.

It sure was a nice day for a ride.  190 miles round trip and temperatures in the high 80’s.

Time to Relax in Eastern Washington

c4Fotor0103110065I arrived in Eastern Washington at my brothers cabin.  I started in Phoenix, AZ and finally made it.  Now it’s time for a little fishing and relaxation.

We caught a few fish, kokanee (a landlocked version of the sockeye salmon),  trout and perch.  We let them all go since we brought plenty of food with us.

I helped my brother build a shed for his quad and enjoyed the fresh mountain air.  It sure isn’t like this in Phoenix.  This is my 2nd year making this trip, and I throughly enjoy it.

It’s hard to see, but in the last 2 photos there’s a couple dear crossing the river.  The photos were taken from inside the cabin through the window.

Another stop on my ride at the Jackson Lake Dam and Reservoir.  It’s located within Grand Teton National Park.  The Snake River flows through the dam in Northwestern Wyoming.

Freestone Park – Gilbert Arizona (AZ)

I’ve started searching for a nice scenic background in the Phoenix area for a photo session I have planned in a couple of months,  high school graduation photos for my Granddaughter. This is the first location I’ve come up with.  Freestone Park, located in Gilbert, AZ.  It’s located East of Lindsay Rd between Guadalupe and Elliot for those in the area that may be interested.  These shots were taken mid day when the sun was high in the sky and very bright.  If I go back, I’d probably go early morning or late afternoon for better lighting. A nice area for photos.
