We made a stop here at The Tiger Historical Center.  It’s Located 85 miles NE of Spokane, WA at the intersection of Hwy20 and SR31.  It was built in 1913.  From 1986-1996 it was a museum.  It is all that remains of the town of Tiger.  The town and area once boasted a population of 2,000.  I found some information from this link on the web.  Lots of nick nacks and goodies to be found here as well as a freezer in the back of the store that was full of Ice Cream Bars.  So that’s what we went for!

I took a ride over to the Superstition Mountain Museum.  They’re located to the east of Phoenix, AZ in the east valley, close to Apache Junction.  A nice place with a great view of the Superstition Mountains.

I won’t go into detail about this place, if you’re interested, just click on the link in the fist paragraph to see their website.

Here’s a few photos:

IMG_4250Here’s the 3rd location I’ve found.  I’ve been searching for a nice  location for some high school graduation photos.

This is located in Scottsdale, AZ.  If you’re driving North or South on Scottsdale Rd, turn east on Mesa St.  The Scottsdale Mall (not a shopping mall) is one block away.  Parking is free for 3 hours.

Lot’s of green grass, flowers, water features, statues and a very nice location for some nice photos.  Even here in AZ where the temperatures are above 100 degrees this week, you can even find some green grass and flowers if you go searching!

This just may be the place I return to for some more photos soon.
