I took a ride today to the “Memorial Healing Field” located in Tempe, AZ. It’s the longest running memorial of it’s kind in the country.

Honoring the victims of the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001.  One 8 foot flag with a bio card attached is displayed honoring the nearly 3,000 individuals.

The memorial will run from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day through 9/14/2013.  It’s located at the Tempe Beach Park, 80 W. Rio Salado Pkwy, Tempe, AZ.

I took a ride through Tempe, AZ. Here’s the Tempe train depot. Union Pacific Railroad freight trains still run along the tracks, but don’t stop. There are five retired cabooses on display along with a restaurant.
