When I saw this painting, I immediately thought of Fuzzy Galore.  I think she’d also want to stop here for a photo.  I just had to stop and take a couple photos.  So if you happen to see this post,  Fuzzy Galore, this ones for you!  I’ve been following your blog for a while now and just wanted to give you a shout out!  For those who haven’t checked out her Girlie Motorcycle Blog, take a look.  You won’t be disappointed.

Glacier National Park, Montana

Here’s a few photos on our ride through Glacier National Park, Montana.

This was my first trip here to the park.  It was very impressive.  We didn’t stray off the road much due to time constraints.  If you really want to get the most out of your visit, you’ll need a few days to get off the paved roads and take some hikes up to the glaciers, lakes etc.

Wild Game on the Menu! and a 180′ Tall Bridge

We stopped here at the “Buffalo Run Restaurant” here in Marblemount, WA.  Along State Route 20.

They had quite selection here on the menu!  I wasn’t feeling very adventurous, so I just got the Angus Burger.  I was told the Alligator Burger was White Meat.

Deception Pass Bridge along State Route 20.  Construction started in 1934 and ended in 1935.  It sure has been here a long time.  Located in North Whidbey, Oak Harbor, WA 98227.  The bridge is 1487 feet long and only 24 feet wide.  Just enough for two vehicles to pass.

A view from the bridge.  It’s a 180 feet to the bottom.

Another view from the bridge. It was quite a nice view.

Northern California and Southern Oregon – A Few Photos

On my way from Northern CA to OR.  I didn’t take many photos this day, just a few.

DSC02856

I don’t remember exactly where I was when I took this photo, somewhere in Northern California getting close to the Oregon Border.  I remember it went from hot to nice and cool riding through here with the shade from the trees.

Another nice view of the Pacific Ocean along Highway 101 in Oregon.  (I really should keep notes of exactly where I take my photos!).

DSC02867

This was taken in Coos Bay, Oregon just South of North Bend, Oregon.  It’s a ship from China taking on a load of wood chips.

DSC02870

I was told me these wood chips were being taken to China to be turned in to paper.

San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge.  It was an adventure riding over it on my motorcycle.  It was so windy I couldn’t hold a straight line.  I must say it was a little nerve racking to say the least!

This was taken on the North side of the bridge on the West side looking down.  By the time I got up here, I was only able to get a glimpse of the bridge for a few seconds due to the clouds/fog.  It was very windy day.

IMG_1528

It was a pretty nice day here in San Francisco.  Too bad the bridge got fogged in when I went up the hill to try and get a photo looking down.
